I've been fighting significant stuttering on Media Portal ATSC TV since I've started using the software last spring. I thought it might of been low signal so I've upgraded my Roof antenna, I have 100% signal on all ATSC tuners in the house (Satellite box, TV and TV tuner Card - I only have it hooked up to the tuner, no splitters)

In the logs for TSReader I see a lot of Missing P-Frames and I-Frame errors

Any help?

I would do a forum search but I am not aware of anyone with Intel IGP that drives HD output. I think you need Nvidia 8200 or better or ATI 780 or better...

You do not have very much data in your post like MB model and version, etc...

asus P5Q-EM with Intel 4500HD Video
I've been seaching the forums for months trying to find something that actually applies to my issues. So far no luck. That is why I posted. I seem to be able to play H264 Encoded HD Mkv files without a problem but anything recorded or live off the tv tuner is almost unwatchable (and as far as I am aware that is only Mpeg2 so it shouldn't be a processor issue). I've tried two different tuners (originally I was using a k-world USB tuner, and now using the Hauppauge 2250) with the same issue. I can play HD-DVD's (with a X-Box 360 HD-DVD Drive) without any issues. I have also set up a 512MB RAM Drive and have set the Steam buffer to use it without much improvement.

I guess it is possble that the integrated 4500HD is not up to the task, but I really don't want to add any more heat into the box if I can help it.
