    MediaPortal Skin: MPStreamed

    Video Card: Hauppauge HVR-2200
MPEG2 Audio Codec: ffdshow but tried others

I think this problem is relevent to this forum.

I see this problem was reported back in 1.0 RC and fixed in TSReader and TSWriter but it appears to be back in the last few versions at least.

Previously a single seat environment, I've just changed to TV Server in the office and MP Client in the lounge, and since then DVB-T radio doesn't work on the MP client. I'm using the exact same codecs on both PC's and it works fine on the TV Server PC.

This problem has been confirmed by another user "Neville" in this post...

I've attached the TSReader log from the MP client PC, and the other logs are from the TV Server PC.

The wife is not at all impressed she can't listen to the radio now.

A fix will be most appreciated.

I have just tested here, and all is working fine.

I don't have time to look at your logs this evening, but I wanted to report that this is not a general problem.

You might try installing LAV filters and using that as audio codec for TV (since radio uses .ts files the same as TV, so it is the TV codec you need to change).

I believe I tried LAV filters already but will try again when I get a chance. But I don't want to use them because they appear to bypass the selected Audio Renderer, and I use the MediaPortal Audio Renderer as I need to delay the audio by 300ms to avoid lip sync problems.

I tried now with LAV filters and Default DirectSound audio renderer, but still nothing. The radio player appears with the duration at 00:00 / 00:01 and climbing, but the elapsed time stays at 0.

Our DVB-T radio in NZ uses the AAC+ codec. The server MP is using the Monogram codec and it works fine, but not on the client. The other user with the same problem is also in NZ, and he says it's been a problem for some time.

Let me know if you have any further ideas, or need anything further.

    Thanks,
    Ross.
