on the tvserver it says powerevent 537 (error log)
and keeps repeating it..
seems my logs get reset after I restart the service..
Which doesnt work either only a reboot seems to fix it..
can you check your log when it doesnt work anymore.. ? but do so before you reboot.. or otherwise the log is cleared..

are you sure that you installed the firewire hotfix ? (not included in windows update)

It seems there is a discussion about 1 patch that could mess up tvserver..
look at this topic..
and check the reply from RTV...

as I read the new nightly builds he included a check for that fix.. to see if its outdated..
maybe thats an issue for you

if you do find powerevent 537 in your tvserver logs.. i recommend you install the firewire patch again .. and see what happens.. ?

to get your system listed.. go to https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/usercp.php

enter your system there.. and you should set "display system specs" in option " edit profile" to " yes" to make it visible in the avatar.. (its on the bottom of that page)

Followed all the steps, including fixes (which most of them I already had). Still no result.
Looked at the logs (TSReader.log and MediaPortal.log) but couldnt the error you mentioned.

After reading your problem my brain started to dig deep in to my memory and remembered the same kind of issue I had before.
I was only able to jump from Nederland 1 to RTL 5 to get it unscrambled. When I tried to jump from NED 1 to NED 2 I got the message ""Unable to start timeshifting" and "No free card available"

Please try the following changes :

- Startup TV server configuration
- Go to TV Server
- Select FireDTV BDA Tuner DVBC
- and click on "Edit"
- Change the CAM limit higher then 1

By default the Alphacrypt Common Interface setup in CA mode is set on : MULTI / DYNAMIC
Otherwise it will not have any effect. This is only needed when you changed it to SINGLE mode in the past.

Hopefully this will fix your problem.

BTW, cause it seems you've the same kind of configuration as I do:
I also have problems with some channels sound- or graphicwise.
For instance, Eurosport does not have sound and I am not able to tune to Discovery or Playboy channel.
It seems to me this is a codec-issue. I am using the codecs advised in Gooses Guide.
Mostly ffdshow that is.

I know I could be pushing my luck here, but do you have any suggestions on that part also?
