    Hi all,

I recently switched from cable to satellite provider and now have some issues with getting my new set-up to work properly. I will post more info and logs when I have done more testing, but in the mean-time I'm looking for a simple work-around...

Most of my issues are solved by stopping and then starting again TV service so I wonder...
Is there a plugin or a shortcut or whatever to this from the MePo interface with my remote?

    Note that I have a multi-seat set-up...

    Thanks!

    Hello MPM

There is no plugin or shortcut that I'm aware of, but you could try to configure EventGhost or some other program to listen for a special key combination from your remote and restart the TV service [remotely]. The information here might help:

The TV service on the server is called "TVService", so you just have to execute sc.exe like:
    sc.exe \\<server IP or hostname> stop TVService
    sc.exe \\<server IP or hostname> start TVService

Thanks for the quick reply! Had MultiShortcut plugin installed since before and sc.exe did the trick with it!
