    Hi,

I just ran into a problem that I don't remember having seen before 1.10. Following situation:

Client #1 is watching encrypted channel Sky Bundesliga HD3: no problem)
Client #2 attempts to watch the same channel in parallel to client #1. Result: nothing happens

In the log of client #2 I see
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,581] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - viewch channel:TvDatabase.Channel
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,583] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - TVHome.ViewChannelAndCheck(): View channel=Sky Bundesliga HD 3
[2015-02-08 13:56:40,600] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - TvPlugin: CiMenuHandler attached to new card 3
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,790] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - succeeded:confused:ucceeded TvControl.VirtualCard
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,791] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - tvhome:confused:eektoEnd(0/0),True,rtsp=False
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,794] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - tvhome:startplay scrambled
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,800] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - g_Player: ShowFullScreenWindow
    [2015-02-08 13:56:40,802] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - g_Player: ShowFullScreenWindow cannot switch to fullscreen
    [2015-02-08 13:56:42,465] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - Main: WM_ACTIVATE (WA_INACTIVE)
    [2015-02-08 13:56:42,466] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - Main: Deactivation request received

The tvservice .log looks to me as if MePo tries to tune the same channel, starts a new timeshift file but then runs into decryption problems. Can this be a limitation of the CAM used?

The logs are odd. Both tune requests seem to be from "PC-JOHANNES". Have you selected the wrong section of logs?

I cut out the respective part because the server log was already 5 mb large. At this time client #1 was already connected to the same channel foir quite some time. Both tune requests are indeed from the same pc (client #2) in the starting scenario.

I will reproduce the scenario after a fresh server start - which is difficult on Sundays when there is always somebody watching tv...

I'd prefer if you could just include the whole log, and also the TsWriter log and TsReader logs from the clients.

    [edit: Zip please. :)]

OK, I reset all clients and server - and then could not reproduce the problem

As I am frequently having different issues with encrypted channels, I suspect the CAM to be the culprit. For example sometimes I am not getting any picture for Sky channels, in which case pulling the CAM solves the problem without having to restart the server. It looks as if the CAM is not always correctly initialized when resuming from standby.

TV Server has no control over DD CAM initialisation. That's entirely controlled by the DD driver, firmware and hardware.
The only thing I can suggest is to try to enable the PS reinitialise TV Server on resume option. Sorry, can't remember the exact name of it.
