I absoultely love the Polaroid-style pictures in filmstrip, great idea
Yes, however, I wonder if it wouldn't look even better without the reflection? The icon view looks so much cleaner.

Progress Update
Hi all,
i have do some more now. ( I have vacation for two weeks )
All Default icons are added now, i think they fit perfect now to the overall style. (see Screenshots)
Also Musicpart is progressing good and Topbar is added.
I have also reduce the reflections to more transparent
I have add some more new screenshots in first post.

Update of Progress !
Hi all,
i have add a couple of new screenshots to first post.
Picturepart and Muiscpart is now full working. Videopart is in Progress now.
You can see now some more specials the skin has, like the Nowplaying "VU Animation" the new Videoverlay and a lot more.
Also the Infoscreens are done now, with complete other style and Specialbuttons.
I have add there some other nice stuff, but can not show it as screenshots.

In this view:
How about adding two different shades for these labels as they're pretty far away from the information to the right:
Actor
Born
Years active
Genres
Tones
Styles
This would make it much easier for your eyes to find the right line of sight.
Also, in the filmstrip view, the reflections look very thick and bright, perhaps a bit less of them would look even better?

fyi, i'm starting work on a clock plugin, which can be used in skins to display a realtime analog clock.
Still need to figure out how to lay the 2 clock handles transparently over the clock background and create a transparent png out of it.
But i think it can be done.

still fighting with the rotation of the clock handles, since the standard windows drawing function doesn't center them.
i have a routine in place, which does it almost correct, but still has some pixels offset. it doesn't look nice.
found an open source image processing lib, which would do it correctly, but they don't support rotation of 32 bpp images. and we need to have it 32 bpp, because of the transparent background.
will research further, but it might take more time than i thought initially.
