Skin Problems when getting imdb info. Major Bug (1 Viewer)

I just tried this on some of my local Movies and had the same thing happen to me. The first time I tried it, it kind of just locked up. I had to ctrl-alt-del out of it and when I went back in and tried it on a different moive, the screen started to flicker like below.

Seems like I can reproduce this issue almost every time. I also remember this issue in RC4. If I am requesting IMDB info for a video that is on a Network Drive. The Skin seems to draw a box and anything in that box get re-drawn. Everything else out of the box stays the same. I have a couple screen shots. The area around the square flickers.


I am going to try a different skin to see if I can reproduce it on another.

*EDIT* just tired it on the MCE skin and received the same thing. This does not happen when the movie is local. Only when the movie is across the network.

I am also experiencing a similar thing, but I find that my screen flickers like crazy ? I have only had this problem after installing MP 2.0 Final Release and does it with all skins.

That aside, Great program and getting better all the time

Yes, mine flickers very quickly. It's just not very present in the screen shots. I am glad this is in the mantis. Thanks dman!

Seems to be random for me. Sometimes it works for 3-4 movies then other times it starts flickering every time. It also happens less if I keep an eye on it

I'm using 0.2 Final, but I'm sure it happened with the last of the RC4+SVN when I started using thumbs.

mine does the same for normal videos on my hd i can update like 2 then it starts to flicker.also noticed that the thumbs flicker when its downloading info

Removed the 2 stacked movies I had, but it didn't fix it.

Had an idea the other night to try it in list view and seems to work ok like that.

Has anyone taken a look at this? This makes MP go from slick and cool.. to what a pile of crap... very quickly. The only way to fix the problem is to close MP and then start it back up again.
