Skin project: Core (21 Viewers)

I had a look at this skin with MP 0.2.2.0 +SVN 14807.
In my environment the zoom function in videos and music has some problems:

- First screen with albums or covers is not zooming, only if I leave the first screen browsing the next album covers. When I then browse back to the first covers they are zoomed. Sometimes the zoomed cover is left hand side, sometimes right hand side of the screen, depending in which direction I am browsing.
Suggestion: Would it be possible to center the zoomed cover like in iTunes

- In music list view (album selected) the viz screen is overlapping the music list e.g. when returning from "now playing" screen. This happens in other music view screens too.

- Some graphics are still from B2 skin (music videos, top menu, TV osd) or has wrong graphic e.g. weather which has the same graphics like settings...

I'll use this skin to find further bugs an will post them...

Hi, the issue with zooming in filmstrip seems not to be skin related. I had the same problems before and it disappeared as soon as I set the filmstrip as default view for these folders.

It seems to arise when you switch to filmstrip from another view.

I have not tried the album view, can you post a screenshot?

There is still a lot of graphics left behind from B2W. I will update it as I go along. please continue to help me out...: )

Some updated screenshots in the first post! Please comment on the color of the progress bars. Is green a good choice here? I was thinking about blue as well but I wanted to distiguish it from the blue selection bars.

Just one thing, from the new screenshots it seems like the topbar is in the middle of the screen, and the OSD not at the bottom?
IMO that is wierd, and a terrible idea. Remember that the media is most important, and should not be covered in gfx, nomatter how fancy it is

I had the feeling that that would be noted...

Wanted to see the reaction and also do something new. Personally I never look at paused pictures so for me it doesn't matter. But if this is the general opinion I will move them, probably to the lower part of the screen.

Please comment on this all of you and then i will update according to majority with next release...

The topbar doesnt only show when paused. (unless you made some major changes to B2 code)
It also shows when skipping forward/backwards and fast forward/rewind..

Time for approval?

Hi,

Yesterday I uploaded version 0.2 of Core. How long time does it normally take for approval? First upload took a few minutes?

our admin (high) is on holidays atm. i just approved your submission.

btw. if i was so keen and renamed it to "Core".
so if you use "update submission" the next time without changing the name of the download, all current links to your skin will stay valid

i suggest to add and continue a version note + history in that submission.

updated submissions will also again appear on the HP, so noone will miss it.
