Yeah, that sure looks perfect. A beautiful filmstrip view is one of the few things I miss in SimpleMP. Underbart!
It wouldn't do any harm if you could use slightly bigger fonts everywhere.
I use a SDTV with an RGB cable for outputing 1024x576 anamorph and it almost looks perfect. Just reading EPGs and descriptions are a little bit difficult. The low contrast of your skin already helps a lot on reducing flickering for interlaced resolutions, please do stick with it
Sounds: It shouldn't be as high as it is now, the sound made wenn navigating ist quite ok, could be a little bit lower. The sound played when selecting something is really way too high, the one when leaving a screen (back) too. The notify sound, in the other hand is way to low. Somebody wants to notice something will happen, I almost always overhear the sound when mp tries to tell me a recording is about to start.
Btw, I do not like topbars, can I deactivate it? For the rest, this is the best skin I ever used. Thanks!

* Bigger fonts are in my todo-list, just havn't found any good way to do this in. Big fonts looks ugly and take much space. Therefore I can't do every text field bigger, do you have any wishes of what text-strings I should make bigger? Descriptions, headings, selected names, home menu...?
* The sounds are being remade. I've became´tired of the current sounds months ago. Also, the volume is too high on some of them...

Sounds good, if you can, send me a PM, and I'll see if the skin really has less issues than before. There's been a number of updates in recent SVNs that affect the dialog boxes that may change what I was noticing before. Hopefully for the better, and taking off some responsibility from you for those aforementioned issues.
I would say wherever text gets dynamic, more ergonomics never hurt.
It is not very important when for instance the left navigational column is not that readble, they do not change anyhow. People know after little use what each button does just by taking a glance on it. (Icon Principle)
But wherever you can find new data, you will try to summon every bit of information, therefore strenghtning your eyes. These fields would be descriptions, EPG Data, Video/Music lists etc...
