Playing back a recorded program and trying to skip forward to the start, the OSD shows the right information, but the program just starts playing again from the begining. The behaviour is the same using fast forward.

Do you get the TV Server to work with your Hauppauge HVR-1100 card? Mine does not seem to tune, and I thought that I was having the same problem that others are reporting with software cards - if you have it working are there any tips I could use?

    Hi,

I have disabled the analogue side of the card, as I don't have the software encoder installed. I don't really need analogue, and I wanted to keep my system as straightforward as possible.

Other than that, the digital tuner just seems to work.

Is this the card you are having the fast-forward/rewind problems with? Maybe that's the common connection.

Let me know, and if it is, I will put a nova-t in my server and repeat the tests. I know it isn't likely to be the tuner causing this, but you never know.

    Best wishes,

    Mark

    Hi

The same problem on my installation (sv12842).

But FF / REV works fine in timeshift mode.

I am using a different card to record at the moment, and can skip through the recordings using an earlier build.

I'll start a new thread about being unable to get the card working, I have now found an error message in the log that may give some clues.

    Thanks,
    Mark.
