Hi!

I could not find this mentioned anywhere, so I thought I'll post a bugreport. The problem occurs when watching a DVD with the internal player and trying to skip forward or backward (that 15s, 30s... thingy). The skip is not being executed and the OSD only shows "END" where the skip steps are usually displayed. Skipping in TV and videos works perfectly.

Kind regards

Check your remote settings. My right button was mapped to "skin right" instead of "move right". If you correct this it works. For LiveTV and for DVD also.

But the timeline becomes visible so the buttons seems to be mapped correct - i also cannot find anything false in my mapping.

I found this behavior on my Desktop PC where I rarely use the remote. Instead I tested this using the keyboard, pressing the right and left arrow keys. Just tested it with the remote: no difference.

What puzzles me is that disaster123 seems to have the problem in liveTV too. For me it works there. And his argument of the buttons being mapped correctly seems very valid to me. The timeline would not appear otherwise.

    Hi,

I can confirm this problem in DVD.

I cannot reproduce the problem in live TV. Works fine for me here, as does video.

I will make the team aware of it.

My mapping of the right button was not ok. Right button was mapped to "skin right". Am i the only one? :)
I checked DVD playback a few times, and it's very strange.
With some DVD's skipping is possible and with some others not. Problem is then as reported.

Some DVDs might have content protection that disallows the seeking inside the media. For example almost every single DVD has such in the FBI warnings etc.
