Fantastic work - i've just set this up here, and so far so good- I actually can see what ITV HD broadcast once a decade and no more channels missing data due to no XMLTV data!
No problems so far - but remembering I previously disabled EPG Grabbing while Idle to solve a problem with the TVServer hanging, I'm hoping that won't re-occur. Certainly the initial grab seems to have worked flawlessly...

I have now worked out how to get the data for Box Office Events now(another one crossed off)

The last task which is the all important one should now HOPEFULLY be easier to spot, and that is the series link information.

I will have a go at integrating the Box Office into the TSWriter this evening.

Was OK here. Sometimes Eurobird signals can be affected by cloud/rain if your dish is a bit off.

but it might be to do with your tswriter? even now I can see the ITV HD logo and it is judder and pixel free. as soon as there is a program on it is pixelated and stutters. audio is always perfect. BBC HD works a treat.

could it be a compatability issue with my card? every single 28.2e TP is 90%. ITV HD 50%??

PS it worked perfect before. I remember I recorded starwars in HD with RC3 or4

I seem to be experiencing a problem similar to the one jmbillings mentioned.

If I set MP to grab EPG while Idle after sometime of not using my HTPC the TV service just hangs, It does not respond to channel changes and eventually just locks up. It wont let me restart the TVServer service i have to kill it from the process tab in task manager and then click start and then relaunch MP and it works. If I disable EPG Grabbing while Idle then I do not have any problems. Except im not sure if my EPG will update this way.

Any help is much appreciated.

I think I have been misunderstood a little.

I am then able to get the group information and Sky Numbers. I will be writing a plugin that will be able to update your database and insert the channels and set up the groups in a way in which Sky Use. The TV Guide layout will be the same. You will still need to press the info button then select group I'm affraid.

just been reading the MP source code for first time ever.
Do you know what the following do, and could they be used for this (having a sky style groups menu)?
mytvServerhome.xml contains <control>with <id>6 labeled "Group"? Its commented out by default. I uncommented it and a "Group" button appears in tv home screen.
Based on <id>6, I'm thinking it should call "OnSelectGroup" in mediaportal/trunk/mediaportal/WindowPlugins/GUITV/GUITVHome.cs. But when I press it it does nothing

if this is of no use sorry for wasting bandwidth.
