TSWriter.log EPG.log and TV.log

Open Configuration and there is a button on the top left for your log files.

Easy to fix this m8,

Open the configuration window.

Expand TV Channels

Then click on TV EPG grabber

now untick the "Store data only for selected channels"

then try refreshing your epg.

I've got a problem. When I set it to scan for the EPG I only get one channel - TCM, sometimes 2 - boomerang. I only got once to scan the whole thing and it broke during the scan.. Any ideas? I have everything set up per instructions.. Please see attached logs. Thanks and great work btw

EDIT: It seams it's working now. I selected also the BritShorts channel in tv epg section and now it's downloading everything I'll report back if I get any more problems but why can't I only select epg for skyuk? btw, this should be done for all providers, maybe someone from dreambox community can help because there is media highway implementation in gemini releases for them.. just a thought..

well, after inital hype, i get frequent tvservice crashes, database connections lost. mp becomes unusable. i know that the general recomendation is to disable EPG grabbing but what's the point then?
As I can see this problem is here for a long time and if it's not working good it should be disabled in 1.0 version which was aimed at stability of the system..
back to xml loading which has it's own problems since there's no EPG for all the channels

As I can see this problem is here for a long time and if it's not working good it should be disabled in 1.0 version which was aimed at stability of the system..

I would return to an original TSWriter and get your system stable. I don't beleive your problems lie in the modified TSWriter.

My system is stable as long as I don't update EPG
I am running it now remotely after some fiddling with powerscheduler plugin thinkink it could be that and now it's downloading EPG for 40mins and counting and everything seems to be ok...
This is RC4 just to mention.. Not upgrading until 1.0.1 comes out soon

The TSWriters aren't for RC4 so there will be problems.

Is it going to be included in future MP versions? Maybe even 1.0.1?
