I think you don't have enough memory. looking at your system spec you have 2GB.

Eek - If it's really THAT heavy I'll stick with WebEPG. I might have a chance to give this tswriter a try tonight and see what happens, but that doesn't sound good for my fairly modest system (A64 3200, 2GB). Or is this just a Vista bloat problem that won't affect XP? (hoping...)

If you open the task manager when you are updating your epg. Click on processes and look for the TVService.

Have a look at the memory usage when the hard disk kicks in. If its about 80meg then your system is using the page file and not the system memory.

I am going to introduce a method that will allow you to select 8 channels, 1 for each day to erradicate this error.

I upgraded to the latest SVN and again I only get 3 channels or two channels for sky uk. Boomerang and TCM and sometimes Cartoon Network. Weird..

Just to say thanks for this addin - I had been fighting with xmltv and getting it matching to channels etc, and was a pain.

This just works. plain and simple - it pulls in all of the listings no problems. Currently on svn with vista 64.

Are you still looking at a way to match in the channels to groups (or have I misunderstood) as at the moment I have a single "all channels" group, which is completely unmanagable, and the channel numbers are in a world of there own, would be great if this could sync all the channels up to the same as the sky epg (obviously with minor modifications to region to handle bbc1 etc) and it might also fix a silly bug on my machine where it only adds in bbc3 if you do a scan when bbc3 is transmitting. - working on from this - would it also be possible (if there is a new channel added into the listings) for it to be automatically added into the database, again saving a manual scan at a later date.

Sorry if I've waffled, but this single addon has made me come back to mediaportal and think about the whole setup seriously.

I already have the code for it but am still modifying it. It will list your channels based on your UK Region. When I have something I'll upload it to this thread so keep an eye on it or subscribe to the thread.

I know this might sound stupid but have you replaced the TSWriter.ax?
I see you are using MDPlugins, try removing MDAPI.ax then running the epg grabber.

try using EPG Audio Channel in the radio channels instead of Brit Shorts.

Well, that one is the problem.. I want just the Sky UK epg, but in RC4 I had to enable BritShorts too to get all the channels from epg audio.. Now none of the combinations work for me.
atm, I have no signal on britshorts due to bad weather here but I don't think that is relevant. I only get three epg channels from epg audio. weird huh?
