If I do introduce this mod would you like me to include the feature of showing the groups when you enter the EPG page? I think that this would be a great addition, to press the guide and get your groups first.

Mhhh... I donnow... I like to find the last visited group when entering the guide.

yes please absolutely that would be awesome. groups is the one killer feature I miss about EPG browsing in MP. A thousand thank yous if you do that one as well

not too bothered about that. browsing by channel name, with station logos, suits me fine. I turn channel numbers off.

Personally although I can see the benefits of having the Sky EPG groups automatically imported into the MP EPG it isn't something that I would use - I'm a 2 groups guy: "Favourites" and "All Channels". To that end I think this should be an optional feature that can be turned off from the configuration application.
Also, I think we should follow best practice and have the new feature available but switched off by default. This particularly applies to the "Show groups before the guide is displayed" concept. A common cause of end-user confusion & frustration is the introduction of new features that are on by default.

I second that. Please don't force it to use Sky groupings (whatever they may be) - I just want all the useful channels (not very many!) in my "favourites" group.

The EPG is working well though - thanks for that.

If a change is required there will be a new file on the first page. As when files are released I get the update through the SVN automatically.
