I have updated to MP 1.0.1 and added your new files, refreshed the epg and I notice that a few channels are no longer getting listings (clubland tv, Zone Horror, Zone Horror +1 and Zone Reality +1). Is there any reasons why this would be happening??

You need to do a channel scan as they have moved, the TID is different.

Astra have modified the TIDs for the following

11222H was 2301 and is now 2311
11261H was 2311 and is now 2301

Hi, Similar thing with me. Upgraded to 1.0.1, replaced the files and I get all listings apart from ITV HD?? It was fine with V1.0.

Update : Don't worry, today it downloaded. :sorry:

This sounds like a great patch which i would love to use, please could you assist me.

I have tried deleting my tv database, creating a new one and scanning for channels again but still no joy.

I am using MP 1.0.1 and have attached my TSWriter & EPG logs.

Any ideas????

I haven't got round to updating the help file yet but ..

Under TV Channels --> TV EPG Grabber.

De-Select "Store Data for selected channels only"

I don't know why but media portal selects this by default now.

I've been having problems with Channel 4 since upgrading.

There are two "Channel 4" channels listed in my channellist, although one is scrambled (even though it has a green icon)
There are also some Channel 4 (1), Channel 4 (2) etc. items.

Anyway, it seems the EPG is only being grabbed for the scrambled channel, and not the unscrambled one, even though I ticked all of the Channel 4 items?

Anyway, i've just un-ticked the box mentioned above so I'll see if that helps, and if not, i'll post logs.

Anyone else got this problem? And what selections do you have for C4?

I'm not getting any trouble with Channel 4. Like you mention, there are Channel 4 (1), (2), (3) and (5). All pick up the EPG on my system. I don't think I've got an encrypted one - could that be left on your system from when Channel 4 was still encrypted some time ago?

Recently, however, I have lost EPG for Men & Motors - no idea why. AFAIK nothing's changed in my setup, and the channel itself works fine.

I think I saw somebody else mention something about M&M EPG missing, but I can't seem to find the post now.

EDIT: Just noticed DJBlu's post above about some of the Zone channels changing TID. Mine are indeed wrong for those (even though I've run a full scan in the last couple of days, so I would have thought they should have updated), so it could be the same problem with M&M. I'll run another scan now and see if it corrects them - otherwise I suppose I'll have to do it manually.

EDIT again: That scan has sorted out the Zone channels this time - perhaps I did it at the wrong time of day before... can't remember. Hopefully the EPG will come back now after it updates itself.

i have posted on sf.net the source of a grabber which outputs xmltv output.
it is written in C++ and includes the full huffman tables from Sky and Freesat

don't shoot me, but it is designed for linux and grabs epg data from dvb/freesat/sky (AU|IT|UK) and MediaHighway.
i'm sure there are loads of bugs and to be honest, i have not got to the stage where i can use the output.

but i was spurred to action by the lack of source for the plugin discussed on this list and was asked if i minded my hard work being "ripped off"; so i felt that i should let people here know. it is released under the GPL (as is MediaPortal)

anyway, i will do my best to answer questions.
