DJBlu, out of interest which files are you editing to be able to create your new TSWriter.ax? I've looked in the source code but im having difficultly tracking it down. I'm wanting to make a few alterations for the Freeview service.

I have a new oddity (well new to me) - I lost my EPG data yesterday, I don't really know how but I spent sometime cursing that it's going to be the same as my humax box in that everytime there is a reboot the EPG has to reload.

The machine has been on all day today (MP client not loaded by TV server running) and I still have no EPG data.

Any suggestions of what might be problem would be appreciated please?

*** PLEASE IGNORE THIS POST *** - My wife had disconnected the cable (it has to run through the patio doors at present and she was cold!). Doh!

I know I can post a new question about this but I wonder if anyone has a list of channels picked up via Astra 28.2 on freesat I can have a copy of please - it makes sense to ask here because the focus is UK.

I'm wondering because there are plenty of channels I cannot make out what they are - I've looked online and the channel numbers I can see a listed consistently but do not match what I am seeing (for instance BBC HD is channel 35 for me and listed as 108 online).

I've also got a number of "streams" and "unknowns" which I cannot figure out - I think the streams might relate to the BBC red button but no really sure. Similarly G49, G53, G54.

I've attached the XML export of my list if of interest.

    Thanks

Here you go - FTA channels on 28.2, FTA channels on Eurobird (28.5).

Don't worry about those except 10510 which is ITV HD, all the others are tests/duplicates of existing channels.

Do you happen to know how to identify what the Polarisation setting should be for a channel (vertial / horizontal etc) - there are only a few options so I assume trial and error will work but am sure there must be a better way!

It can only be vertical or horizontal, so you could guess, but better to look somewhere like KingOfSat (as linked to a couple of posts above) - that will give you all the necessary settings.
