I am re-writing the code as we speak. There was a memory leak in the first attempt(Was learning how to code in c++).

As Sky UK's epg holds 8 days for 580ish channels the memory consumption went up to 1.5 gig. However implementing the Freesat EPG (7 days 169 channels) uses up 80 meg.

So if my calculations are correct the maximum memory usage should in theory be just over 310meg. If I can sustain this then is will be viable to apply the patch to the TSWriter, if not then I will stick with the original plan and implement a console application.

I have noticed a problem with the encoding on S4C,S4C 2 and BBC Alba. I will be looking into it.

I modified the TSWriter from the SVN Repository two days ago, I'll try with RC3 later on.

Finally a little good news.

I think, I repeat think I have solved the memory leak. I have been able to populate the epg for 569 channels only using 110meg. Sooooooo .... In about 24 hours I will have a copy of the TSWriter that will automatically update your Sky Channels with 8 days of EPG.

Combine that with the Fressat EPG(Will need this for the Radio Channels) You should have a full epg window.

How cool does that sound!
