Hey DJBlu that looks like an amazing achievement! Thanks for all the hard work! To get it working do I need all channels numbered exactly like the Sky EPG- i.e. can I just do an ordinary scan in MediaPortal and run this and it will work or is there a special channel list I should download somewhere?
OK, thanks. If I go into TV-server options TV Servers > Desktop > 1 DVB S Hauppauge WinTVx 88 DVB S/S2 Tuner/Demod I have 3 options DiSeqC, Band and Satellite- it is currently on None for "DiSeqC" and Ku-Linear (Universal) for "Band" - are these the correct settings for a normal Sky minidish in the UK? There is also a choice of 3 options for 28.2 for Satellite - Astra 2A/2B/2D Eurobird, Freesat, or Setanta Sports- do I have to set these all up as different satellites (i.e. SAT1, SAT2, SAT3) or do I only need to scan one?No this will find the channels based on their Service ID's. It will update whatever channels are stored in your database. You only need the files in the zip archive.
