The latest SVN will have Freesat EPG included, 1.1.0 alpha doesn't have it included.
Hi DJBlu,
I aplied svn 23143 [build 4/7/2009] this morning on my 1.1.0 Alpha install.
Unfortunately, the EPG does not get collected as I would expect it to.
The EPGGrabber gets started but after a couple of minutes just stops.
Am I overlooking something?
Enclosed my EPG.LOG, TV.LOG and TSWRITER.LOG
Thansk for your feedback!
Peter
I need to check that the SVN has the code in it.
I was told it was going in there. But the SVN website doesn't have the code in it.
I will compile a TSWriter for you to use and will upload it later.
Thanks for the feedback SpudR... but I'm using Vista and didn't require the patch

Hey DJBlu,
Based on SpudR's comment, I downloaded svn23178 [10/7/2009] and installed it.
The EPG grabber now works! Great work. Nice to see the patch has been incorporated into the MP base software.
Another question: I live in Belgium and our sat-provider [TV Vlaanderen / Canal Digitaal] uses MediaHighWay [MHW] to send through the EPG data for the flemisch stations. Basically, we need to tune for 30 seconds to a specific channel for the EPG to get loaded. Any idea if this would also be possible to collect the same patch as for Freesat?
Regards,
Peter
Probably all a big yes but...
Did you select your DVB-S card as the grabber and enabled it?
Have you selected the 'Brit Shorts' channel as your EPG grabber and deselected the 'only for selected channels' option?
Did you re-apply the DVBfix?
What MP version is it?
Try the 1.1.0 Alpha version with the latest SVN (mine is working but has lots of holes...)
