DJBlu, morpheus_xx has fixed an issue with the TechnoTrend CI module, which has resulted in an updated tvlibrary.dll, see here. Would you be so kind and publish the freesat epg grabber package based on this new dll? Thanks in advance!

Hi all,

I have found the root of my problem with ITV HD and some solutions.

I should explain that my dish is mounted on a flat roof with about a ton and a half of slabs underneath to anchor it. However the wind must have got underneath it and moved it a fraction. The effect of this has been to knock Eurobird out, which the other scan details (ch 10510) refer to. Astra remains unaffected. This has been whats confusing me.

The upshot of this is that during the course of my investigations I have found another ITV HD transmission on Astra 2d.

Frequency : 10832200 Khz
Symbol Rate : 22000
Polarisation : LinearH
SID : 10000

this new stream is probably the transponder that will carry it

I hope you can help me, for the past few days I have lost all my EPG data, now my EPG is empty, I have checked all configs are ok but still no EPG data, Loking in my logs I se an error but do not know what it means, here are my logs.

There is actually epg data for it already,

If you select the channel in the TV EPG grabber settings it will pick up 7 days worth of EPG.

I have just rebuilt my HTPC, and in the process of setting up the EPG.

But I can no longer find the "Freesat info" radio station??!!

I have EPG Background Audio set, but I need the freesat equivalent.

Can anyone help

Hello to everyone.
I'm using this new version of DJBLU's fantastic EPG grabber.
I live in italy so I get EPG for sky Italy.
I'm particularly interested in the grouping function, so this is what I did:
- installed and registed the tswrter.ax and relted dll,
- renamed file groups_it.dict in goups.dict
- Set
GetSkyNumbers=1
SkyQuickScan=1
in sky.cfg

ThenI set those parameters in tvserver:
- Satellite: 13.0 E Hotbird 6,8,9
- Group for: each provider
- Enable dvb-s2 scanning
- Enabled advanced tuning optpions
frequency: 11880000 (alice)
symbol rate: 27500
polarization: linear V
Scan for single transponder

This way I can get the channel list in less than a minute, but grouping is partial. It seems that just something like 50% (this is not accurate)
of the channels are renumbered ang grouped.

I started from a fresh installation of tvserver, I also have kept a copy of the empty db to make channels scan from a clean situation.

Is there something obvious that I'm doing wrong?

Any help would be appreciated.

DJBLU, please don't get offended, the group name in groups_it.dict show a bad translation.

A better translation would be:

48=Intrattenimento
80=Sport
112=Cinema
144=Mondi e culture
176=News
240=Altri canali
63=Bambini
95=Ragazzi e Musica

I haven't really tested it on 13e. I have got 2 weeks away from work starting next week. I will tune to 13e at home and will take a look into it.
