Is their still a version that I can use with MP 1.0.2.0

To be honest I haven't read the whole thread at 90 odd pages bit of a marathon

Hey,
I know this is probably a little bit left field, but is there a chance this could be adapted to Australian Foxtel/Optus Aurora/Austar? I believe they also use OpenTV for their epg data. I noticed you (assumption) released your source on sourceforge and I grabbed the sky_au.dict and sky_au.themes from there and chucked them in the mediaportal along with the files you posted here, but I am assuming that I need to be able to map/identify the channels with the epg data?
Im happy to log data or help out in any way I can (im no developer).

I haven't really tested it on 13e. I have got 2 weeks away from work starting next week. I will tune to 13e at home and will take a look into it.

RC2 is out

I can not get your files to work with RC2, the TVLibrary files have definately changed, and the tswriter causes the service to crash

Any chance of new versions based on RC2?

Yes I can confirm that the single transponder scan no longer works with RC2. EPG grabbing still seems to work but I left a channel running over night and the tv service had crashed this morning. Its possible that this is a new bug in MP and that the tswriter.ax is still ok (I dont think the original has changed in this release, despite an entry in the mantis). After upgrading, the date of the original file went back to 23/12/2009.

Hi there,

I noticed the same... tswriter.ax doesn't seem to have changed for RC2 (file size/date are still the same as before).

But the other files have.

It might be a bug, but the file released in RC2 seems to stop the crashes, the Devs will not touch/support DJBlu's version.

Hopefully DJBlu is around, because I was stupid and upgraded my live HTPC (not my test unit) with RC2 and now I have no EPG! (might have to resort to importing an XML file)

When you say "no EPG" do you mean absolutely none, or are you just talking about the non-fta Sky stuff? I was half thinking about installing RC2 but don't want to break my EPG. I'm just using the freesat grabber that was built into the 1.1 beta realease (prior to RC1), I don't care about all the fancy Sky, series or quick channel scanning features that have been added more recently.

Freesat EPG will work but all the Sky extras will not as the install of RC2 overwrites the TVLibrary.dll and TSWriter.ax

I am compiling a RC2 version and will upload it later.
