Unfortunately I don't think you can upgrade from 1.2.2.

I believe there were database changes in the standard MP distribution from 1.2.2 -> 1.2.3, so these will conflict with the new Sky installers. (I'll try and check this, I'm not 100%)

It is safe to upgrade from 1.2.3 because there were no database changes in the standard MP distribution from 1.2.3 -> 1.3.0 Alpha.

Thanks for the files, successfully upgraded from 1.2.3 to 1.3.0a

Only minor issue was SubCentral not being compatible, hopefully that will be fixed shortly (not that I use it much)

Was the release based on vanilla 1.3.0a, or a newer version from Git?

Whats the path from 1.2.2 then? Did your 1.2.2 -> 1.2.3 require a clean install, I thought it was an upgrade so I could go 1.2.2-> 1.2.3 -> 1.3.0a

Apologies my bad

Looking back through the history the database was last changed from 1.2.0 => 1.2.1.

So to clarify:

If you are currently using version 1.2.0 or earlier, you need to do a fresh install.

If you are using version 1.2.1 or later, you can upgrade safely.

You can also upgrade directly (ie you don't need to do 1.2.2 => 1.2.3 => 1.3.0A[DOUBLEPOST=1343394799][/DOUBLEPOST]

I merged the tag release into the branch, so it should in theory have identical base code to 1.3.0 Alpha. (ie it's not the latest trunk)

Thanks, was going to ask about the direct upgrade. Will be doing this shortly when I add the Olympic channels. Thanks for taking the time to create the updates, I couldn't imagine MP without it now, love it.

I have tried doing a fresh install of Mepo on the client.

Anyone know if this is a 1.3.0A issue, or a Miroslav issue?

You could try to press F5 while in TVGuide and see if this helps. But I think miroslav knows better.

Hi there,

What is F5 meant to do...jump back a few hours?

If so, it does not help.

Basically when I go into the TV guide, the straight away the labels/data is missing.

If I then change the time period, the data/channels show, but without any colour coding at all (and I get the errors)

I'm not sure but if it works in a vanilla 1.3.0 Alpha version then it should be okay in the Sky version too. I'll try and have a look today as I've not really played with it yet
