Skystar 2 Problems (1 Viewer)

Ok I read about Media portal and decided to try and set it up. My first run, everything was working alright. I started a scan, channels were found.. and I canceled it for some reason. I then tried to scan again and I found like 5 channels compared to the ones I had before. I've looked at lyngsat and I know there's channels on the transponders I'm scanning but nothings coming up. I decided maybe it was a driver problem, so I updated to the latest skystar2 drivers, 4.4.3. That caused my other dvb app that I used to use to stop working... and now media portal doesn't see the skystar 2 as a card available in the TV settings. I tried going back to my old driver version, and media portal still doesn't see it. I've gone from semi working to complete failure pretty quick, and I have no idea how to get back to where I was. I've reinstalled both Tv and mediaportal like 20 times, changed to different skystar driver versions, still it won't show up. What have I done..?
