don't need to uninstall drivers, just go to device manager, select update driver for ss2, point to bda dir and woilla!

you'll see ss2 as "Device sound,video, game"
you have to reconf prog and Mp devices and everithing will work great!!!

ps: I don't use server4pc, I've removed it from startup!
It usefull only if you have a sat dsl connection.... not for watching tv!

bye

All correct except step 4, I don't think the Setup4PC will find the ss2 hardware when it is using the BDA drivers, so no point in installing it. I may be wrong though; it was my experience but I didn't try very hard though, since I didn't really need setup4PC

I´ve followed your steps and progdvb v 4.82 don´t found skystar2
When I try start skystar2 device, form device list Progdvb, I view the next message:

Device not started
(Sky star 2)

Any suggestion?

Thanks

you don't have to start skystar2 from device list, you have to start a device that is called something like BDA DVB-S

bye

I didn´t get succesful totally

I found one problem using BDA drivers in both programs (MP and Progdvb) and came back to other driver.

The problem was than both programs didn´t scan channels in Astra 19, curios isn´t it?
Yes in Hotbird 13
I don´t understand what is the cause of problem
Hotbird yes, Astra no !!
How much LNB´s did you have?
Otherwise, MP found driver BDA Skystar 2 and Progdvb found generic BDA DVB-S perfectly

I´m ready for others challenges

Thanks friends
