Ya sounds like it's just me and not a 'bug', but rather something I'm not doing, have set up wrong or whatever. But I've completely removed MP and uninstalled the ss2, then reinstalled the ss2 and MP and it still doesn't see the card. (even though it's in the device manager, and mytheatre works 100%.)
I noticed this in the log:
which makes me think it might be worth a try trying to find MP entries in the registry & deleting them.
