Starting the Live TV (if not running) takes approx. 30s. This is with the latest TV Engine v3 (TVEngine3 Snapshot: 05-31-2007 01-22h Revision 14765).

When looking at the logs, you see an awful amount of
Code:
31-05-2007 20:41:41 [c18]vmr9:InitializeDevice() 720x576 AR 720:576 flags:24 buffers:1  fmt:(3231564e) NV12
31-05-2007 20:41:41 [c18]vmr9:DeleteSurfaces()
31-05-2007 20:41:41 [c18]vmr9:flags:
31-05-2007 20:41:41 [c18]vmr9:  OffscreenSurface
31-05-2007 20:41:41 [c18]vmr9:  RGBDynamicSwitch
31-05-2007 20:41:41 [c18]vmr9:InitializeDevice() done()
31-05-2007 20:41:42 [c18]vmr9:TerminateDevice()
31-05-2007 20:41:42 [c18]vmr9:DeleteSurfaces()
lines in the vmr9.log file whenever the vmr9 renderer is initialized. It amounts to almost 20 seconds of the 30 second lag time. But once the live tv is running, changing channels are more normal, about 2-3 seconds. See analog_log.zip for the logfiles.

But, if I watch DVB-T channels instead of analog, you get a the 30 second pause for EVERY channel change, making it 30 seconds per change. See digital_log.zip

I've tried enabling/disabling the FFDshow filter which I use to enhance the picture quality but it makes no difference, the lag time is the same.

I've also fiddled with the options for vmr9 (exclusive enabled/disabled) but it made no difference (except for tearing issues ;))

    Sorry :) I was on a roll here and forgot to change sections.

    Thanks, but could you move it to the bugreport forum instead of support? This isn't a plea for help, this is infact a bugreport.
