Hello,

I have installed Media Portal 0.2RC2, but now my TV Tuner card (Leadtek Winfast PVR2000) is not working anymore... => no signal (no sound and no picture).
And I had no problem with version 0.1.3...
I have the last drivers from Leadtek and I have no problem with Ktv (except when I run MediaPortal first => Ktv is not responding...)
The graph from graphedit seems to be correct...
I have try more than one solution from this forum but nothing can resolve the problem...

Here is the end of capture.log :

I had the same problem, fixed it by copying the 0.1.3.0 CaptureCardDefinitions.xml file in the 0.2.0 MP folder.
Unfortunately have to do this every time I load a new 0.2.0 CVS.

I've tried your solution, but when I do this, I can't add the capture card in the configuration of Media Portal. I've the message : "No video capture card(s) were found, you won't be able to configure a capture card".

Before erasing the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml, your 0.2RC2 version was install on a 0.1.3 version or have you uninstall the previous version and delete the Media Portal directory before installing the 0.2RC2 version ?

    Thanks,

    Olivier

I backed-up my MP 0.1.3.0 folder and then uninstalled MP 0.1.3.0, deleted the MediaPortal folder, and started from scratch with MP 0.2.0 RC2.

Hope this works for you, it sure did work for me.

Finally, I think that there is something strange in the Graph from Graphedit.

    You can see here :
    http://www.olvin.be/divers/mpgraph.jpg

I think that the presence of the filter "Smart Tee" is not normal and that it is blocking the output of the card...
But if I remove it manually, nothing changes...

I must also tell you that the devid of my card is this one :

    ven_14f1&dev_8800&subsys_6630107d&rev_05

    and not this one :

    ven_14f1&dev_8800&subsys_663c107d&rev_05

Note the difference : 6630107 instead of 663c107

So, for my problem, is there a bug in the version 0.2RC2 or must I change something to make it working ?!?

    Olvin,

    Upgrade to CVS
    And re-try

Note: Your variant of card was added a few weeks ago.

    Ok, now it's working !

I have installed the CVS of 01-28-2006
and I have also re-installed .Net Framework 2.0

So, i'm not sure that it's the CVS or the re-install of the framework that solves the problem...

CVS is new updates for Media Portal.
In fact, you replaces directly files in the directory "Program Files\Team Media Portal\Media Portal".

You can download CVS here :
    https://www.team-mediaportal.de
Go to "CVS-download" on the right

I must also tell you that I have re-install a new version of .Net framework 2.0 (01/22/2006)
