I apologize if I am being dense. I could not find any posts that mirror my issue, so I shall ask those in the know...
I have MP 1.5 set up. I am trying to use the schedules direct plugin for EPG data. I am mostly able to do so with the following caveat. When the SD plugin updates the EPG, it changes my MP TV server back-end channel numbers.
Here's the long version of how it happens.
I enter TV server config and scan for channels. (I am only using OTA channels via antenna). It successfully scans and numbers my channels correctly. As an example in my area the beginning of the lineup following a successful scan shows up as :
2001
2002
2003
4001
7001
8001
8002
etc...
2001 is the main channel (2:1), 2002 & 2003 are sub channels (2:2, 2:3). The rest of the channels are scanned correctly and presented in this convention.
Once the schedules direct plugin grabs EPG data, it changes the channel numbers to:
2
2
2
4
7
8
8
essentially removing the 00x portion of the channel number. If I disable the plugin, all remains normal. This makes direct channel changing challenging, as well as WAF.
Has anyone else ran into this? If so, how did you resolve it?
Any direction is greatly appreciated.
