Solved SingleSeat environment - Problems with windows mp extended services - after rebooting machine (1 Viewer)

Hi together,

a few days ago I installed mp extended and mp webportal. The out of the box installation with help of the wiki even https configuration works fine and I am impressed! Well done!

After some days I did a reboot of my machine,because of some windows updates. Unfortunately after reboot webportal no more works. Problem could be solved restarting the windows services mp extended and mp webportal. The procedure can be reproduced.

Is this an expected behaviour? How can I solve this?

Are you using XMBC as the client on the same box by any chance?
The thing is that WebPortal is using port 8080, and if you want to control XBMC with a remote app (like constellation), the xbmc webserver is also using port 8080 by default. In xbmc in system : settings > services > webserver : port
Change the port to something else like 8085.
