    I am getting errors on some clients after upgrading to 1.13

    Whenever I try to play a channel I get "Unable to play stream6"

    Logs show the following errors on client side, and nothing in logs for server side at all.

    [2016-01-28 11:21:20,025] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - TSReaderPlayer: Failed to open file:rtsp://Server-Media.lyfesaver.net:554/stream6.0 :0x80004005
    [2016-01-28 11:21:20,111] [Error ] [MPMain ] [ERROR] - TSReaderPlayer:GetInterfaces() failed

    Sorry, wanted to clear up one thing that I misspoke (mistyped? lol) This is not after an update. The clients that have been upgraded to 1.13 from 1.x are the ones working fine. These errors are on ver 1.13 on fresh installs of both MP and Win 10.

    Older Posts with this Error indicates a possible DNS Problem. Can you try use the Server IP instead of the Servername? Also please check the Firewall Rules on the new Clients.

    Used IP - Done
    Turned off firewall - Done
    Turned off IPv6 -Done
    Restarted PC - Done

    Problem remains.

    All good ideas though. Thank you for the tips!

    Okay. I found out what it was. @Brudertac telling me about the DNS did send me in the right direction. It reminded me that I chose not to put these HTPC's on my domain controller and log in with admin privileges. I was thinking it was not needed, but doing it allowed TV to stream.
