Some episode files skipped? (1 Viewer)

Hi,

i imported all my series.
One of my series is battlestar galactica.
tv series matched it with battlestar galactica (the old series) and not the one from 2005
That serie has 2 seasons.

I deleted the serie from the database and started the importer again.
He finds battlestar galactica episodes again but only the episodes from season 1 and 2
He never shows the episodes from season 3 and 4.
When i import the episodes from season 3 and 4 are grey (i checked download whole serie episodes list)

Where are my other episodes and how to import/link them?

You dont need to delete and re-import (thats just going to make you go around in a loop, as its going to auto-detect the same series again).

In GUI, select the series and bring up the menu. Then select 'Force online lookup for series'. This will give you a list of all searches returned and allow you to choose the correct BSG.

You should find that your season 3 and 4 now get matched up.

I tried this,
I got to select battlestar galactica or the 2003 version.
I choose the 2003 versie but still only see the season 1 and 2

I unchecked 'show only episodes that our found on my pc'
Now I see season 3 and 4 but they are in red and so are all episodes (and they dont play)
Any idea why he didn't find them?
(i had mediaportal 1.0.2 and all seasons where found)

Maybe because of your filenames...did you check the parsing wizard in configuration?

Try deleting BSG from database and import from configuration.

I tried that.
The names of season 3 files are same as season 2 files,
and they did import when i had mediaportal 1.0.2
Ill try more but its not a disaster, all the other imported fine

I had the exact same problem with battlestar galactica. It keep finding the old series and not the new series. The way I solved it was to uncheck "automatically choose series when an exact match is found online" in the online data tab. This allowed me to select the 2003 version and it picked up....unfortunately I had had to empty my database for it to pick up, but I was able to my complete collection of bsg to rescan correctly.
