Total flash support is impossible because the site links to numerous external sites each requiring their own method for getting at the flash url's.

I was asked to try and provide support for flash links from hitsports.net but again that site uses numerous different providers and I only managed to get the flahi.tv streams working - links to hitsports.net are still displayed on the off chance that the site is currently using flashi.tv (I figured it was better than nothing).

    First, thanks for the effort!

Are these site definitions being maintained? I have been trying to use Wiziwig and LiveTV.ru a lot lately, and have not been able to get any streams to work. I get an "Unable to play the video, No URL" error. I have verified that I'm able to play the streams from the website - they open in WMP/Sopcast and play great.

You need SopCast Sop Filter, the application does not install a direct show filter.
Thanks for the response, and awesome plugin!!

I've tried using SopCast versions 3.5 and 3.8.2, from here: http://www.sopcast.com/download/win.html (which I'm assuming is the official download location)

When I open a stream using the sop:// protocol, or just pasting it directly into WMP, then the stream plays fine. It seems like at some point the filter was renamed, and it is no longer finding the correct filter name. I attempted an earlier version of SopCast as well, and it didn't work either.

I think the outdated sopcast filter actually works fine for low quality streams, it doesn't work with high quality streams.

Which version are you using, and does it work fine with OnlineVideos in MP?

    Thanks!
sopcast filter version? it's the 3.0.5 that you find everywhere dated 2009. As i say. it works for low quality streams.

Can others confirm errors with the 3.0.5 filter in OV?

I have "fatal error" issues with all high quality streams, but same streams works fine with latest sopcast!?

    http://127.0.0.1:8902/stream in WMP also works
