sorting channels for guide (1 Viewer)

Hi, which field in the TV Server configuration actually sorts the channels in the Guide?

So far, I've added the SID in front of the channel name and clicked on "name" to sort it by SID. The thing is I've done this on every single tab in the configuration because I don't which one actually affects the sort (TV channels, Combinations, TV Mapping, TV EPG grabber and TV Group - Mapping).

Now though, I want to make slight modifications (i.e.: Move this channel up a few, move this channel to the bottom, etc...).

Which tab do I actually have to modify the channels to sort them?

I tend to sort my channels in the TV Channels section in TV Server using the appropriate channel group tab. I believe a default group of "All Channels" is automatically created even if you have not created any additonal channel groups.

Alternatively you should be able to select TV Channels then TV Groups and pick the group and use "Up" and "Down" there to change the order. I tend to click the "Name" heading to sort alphabetically by name as a starting point and then arrange the channels from there.

add whatever groups you like then go on to the mapping tab, the column on the left has all channels, select group frpm drop down menu and move channels across as desired
