Lot of things was said about volume issue with Vista.

Original problem: when I low the sound, I cannot up it anymore.
Temp fix: use CUSTOM & WAVE control sound...

but... on resume of a sleep time, issue reappear...

a new fact... Realtek HD sound appli create a personnal setting control sound for MP appli only. We can see it when, on the realtek icon on tray, you right click and select Sound Control. So... it seem that volume control only MP appli.
Im not sure that personnal setting control sound for appli was existing in XP... maybe that a hint to look for.

Strange that only WAVE is working and not the MASTER LEVEL...

thank programmers!

Try changing the Volume Settings in the configuration. I have the same problem with Vista 64, but when I changed the volume control from XP (registry something or other) to Vista all was better.

Start MP Configuration, expand "General," and under volume control, select Vista scale.

I will admit that with the current SVN for RC1/RC2 I have no volume control on the client which is a Shuttle SN85 (not the most Vista ready box). My other clients seem to work well with the new SVN.

This doesn't seem to work for me with vista 64bit. Only selecting wave seems to. Of course, when MP isn't active, the remote controls the master volume normally.
