In my case i have 100% matches of my entire (normal movies) collection (but it is true that i have all my files well named and with the right year).

You are a lucky man. Could you tell me or post wich scrapper are you using, and the exactly configuration in Movingpictures settings.

I have also my files well named but there are no matches for some movies and many other has no cover art or summary.

    Thanks for your cooperation,

    thanks roberman that helped !!

i now have 95% of movies autoapproved !!

vgallego if you want, try adding this to the noise filter expresion, right at the front of everything. make sure to copy the original to somewhere in case you mess it up.

I am using our filmaffinity 1.0.7 scraper, i have only this scraper active in the configuration.

I have check a set o my collection (about 100 movies) with this results:
    - One movie fail to match because the year in filmaffinity is wrong.
    - 4 - 5 movies fail to match because filmaffinity doesn´t have this movies in their database.
    - The rest have match without problem but not all have been approve, i think i have been playing with the auto-approval settings, not a big problem, until i correct this i just approve all my list with one click more (not a problem with the scraper anyway).
    - All my movies matched have summary.
    - Some of my movies don´t have image, but we know this problem and i will look into it when i have time. The problem is related to the lack of filmaffinity big linked images on films.
    - almost 50% of my movies have IMDB.es ID, i haven´t look into this, but i think little can be done because imdb is a secondary source for this scraper and that dificult the process of the search results on imdb.es web because the user can not dedice what when wrong, so the scraper can not make choices (sorry, the scraper dont have intelligence :p).

If some of you have problems with some movie match or some piece of information that the scraper dont find, please post the names of your movies files and your moving pictures logs (kept the logs as clear as posible).

before look into a problem in the scraper, try to ckech manually the filmaffinity web and search for any problematic movie to see if the web have it in their dababase and what data have about it.

    Good news!!
I have investigate the small images problem with filmaffinity scraper.

Well, first of all, it is not a problem of the scraper nor Moving Pictures.
Moving Pictures have a feature that prevent small pictures from download and be use as covers. It´s understandable because small images don´t look well on screen.
But we can change the minimun size of the images to be download, we have to go to advanced options (in the about tab) and locate the "covert art" section, there we can set the minimum size that an imagen must have to be download (don´t forget to click the "update" button for each change!!!).

To know the minimum size we can open filmaffinity web and search for a movie with small picture only (like apolo 13), if we right click on the movie image and select "properties" in our web browser we can know the image size.

I have set minimum width of 90 and minimum height of 100 and i have now much more covers :D for my movies... well mini-covers

    ... and more good news!!

    new version 1.0.8
    changes:
    - minor correction in summary detection.
    - the summaries now will ommit the "(FILMAFFINITY)" string at the end.

With this new version and the changes comented in my last posts I have test a set of my movie collection (200 movies) with 100% matches, 100% covers, 100% sumaries... (I am not counting a few very very rare friki-movies :p)

    Thanks Roberman !!!!

Can you try to talk with fforde to get this scraper in moving pictures 1.0 final?? its absolutely much better than the original one.

maybe creating a poll so spanish users can vote so fforde sees that the scraper is working great for many.

When I approve a movie from (i.e.) imdb.com, then I can't refresh from filmaffinity+imdb.es. MP takes me to the import page, finds the movie in spanish but when I manually approve it, nothing changes.

    Anyone else? Its only me?

    Thanks

I already tested your scraper. I clean up completely the data base and rescan all movies with your scraper. Now the results are very good almost 95% of movies approved. Now I have covers, summaries, and fan art in all movies. Of course there are spanish movies that have no funart but that is not a scraper's problem.

Thank you very much you did a very very good work.

That's what I was looking for a long a time and should be included in next version of moving pictures.

as i said, maybe we should create a poll so fforde and rest of moving pictures devs see that spanish users approve the scraper.

    what do you guys think?
