When using this skin I get a blank screen after the MP splash screen.

BlueTwoWide does not have the same issue.

I've had this in the past when having the weather overlay plugin enabled (it seems that it can't be with the new SVNs....it keeps reverting to disabled when you go back into setup) and no overlay XML. Even though the overlay plugin is not enabled I tried copying the XML from BlueTwoWide, but same result.

I was using an SVN from about a week ago. I have since updated but still the same issue.

Is there something in the setup that i'm missing?


Just did a clean install of 0.2.2.0 and svn 12919 with the same result. The only "extra" I'm running is the MCE replacement plugin (only using the blaster part, not the driver).

Some people had this problem with my two other skins also. It has been solved by delete the contents of the fonts folder placed in the SpinSafe Revolve folder.

Sorry for the late reply...got side tracked this past week. Anyway, deleting the contects of the FONTS folder did allow the skin to display. However, the skin runs very very slow.

I'm running a Core2Duo E6400 with 2GB 677MHz RAM on an Intel 965G chipset (I'm using the onboard GMA3000 graphics).

So, for now it's back to Blue Two Wide

If anyone has some performance tips please pass them on.

Question.. Would it be possible to redefine within a skin that when I press play or OK on the video, it would first go to IMDB view, and then be able to "normally" play the file?
It seems so much more intuitive to first get an info about to movie you are about to see, and then play the movie.
I don't like that F9, IMDB combination.

Another problem: whne entering mytv its ok in fullscreen but very stuttering in window mode. In mytv screen. Same when watching tv and then go to home screen.

Music naviagtion is also very stuttering.

No problem in blueTwo Wide

Its a good idea, but i dont think it possible to do from the skin, i think its more a MP core issue.
But if you dont already done it you should add it in the improvment idea section of the forum.
pss. *whisper* Last night i have been working on a nice solution for the list view in my movies, that makes it possible to view imdb information and a big cover image, by pressing right on the focused movie.

I have no solution for that...maybee i have used to much animation that makes it little slower in windowed mode.
I think is possible to disable the animations in the configuration program, if you like.

I just noticed that you can press on the yellow button in the MCE remote to view the IMDB informtion.

My plasma has a 2% overscan, and it appears spinsafe puts text near the edges of the screen making them unreadable. (Even though I have calibrated my screen in MP)

It's a pity, because it makes the theme quite unusable. It appears to be a nice theme though.

Files for MyFilms plugins

Hi all,
I update the skin files for MyFilms plugin...
One thing remains todo : on detail screen (MesFilmsDetail.xml) navigation buttons aren't quite good (the green focus color is not the adequate one, a blue dark should be better...) If someone want to modify them, it'd be nice...

Can you integrate those files in your package ?
