Hi, I'm having display issues in 'My Videos'. As you can see from the attachment the small pictures are being cut off and low resolution. Also its looks like im missing the IMDB info that was collected in the bottom pane.

I'm using Current release of Skin (15th June) with 0.2.3.0 RC1

Yes, but you dont use an databse view. That why
Add you movies to the database and select title view.

Some problems that i've saw:

1) Hexagon game display (see attached picture)
2) No icon for My programs (a joystick or something simmilar could be nice)
3) My news content overflow the area (see attached picture)
4) Last.fm time display it's too much to the left. It could be nice to move it to the right to keep more space for displaying the song title/ artist. (see attached picture)
5) The on screen keyboard has no skin, or it's really ugly... sorry (see attached picture)
6) My alarm screen texts are out of place in main screen and in other screens (see attached picture)
7) Worldmap plugin has no icon.
8) My sudoku has no icon.
9) My music videos has no icon.
10) My status has ugly icon from BlueTwo skin... i think that using the same or with little variations, than for My weather could be nice...

That's all for the moment, i hope that it helps to improve the BEST skin for MP. In fact i think that this skin should be installed by default for 16:9 screens.

One thing, I still notice the smaller pictures are rather bad quality. Is that because of the scaling?

You can change the resuloution of the tumbs in the configuration.

I've also noticed that "My programs" and "My status" plugin looks bad with this skin... I'm still testing more program sections to report here the bugs that i found.

Thanks again, will try that tonight. This might be the wrong thread to ask but when it does the lookup it just gets the IMDB thumb which is low res, is there functionality that allows you to edit the default source for the picture so it can get the cool hi-res posters?

You can add a movie to DB 2 ways.

1. In shares view just open the context menu on the movie file you want to add to the DB, and hit imdb. This will make it possible to browse all covers directly. Fist one usealy low resulution, but the rest often are high resulution. ( this one i always use)

2. You can automaticly scan you shares in the configuration. This option always grabs the first cover it finds, the lowres one.
When the scan is finished you have to edit the cover manualy.
movies->movie database->editor->(choose the movie)->coverart

Yes, Im aware of both those methods. I will ask around to see if its configurable so they can pic up the 2nd picture index or something.

Hey mirk, i've looking into the XMLs in your skin and i think that there is a easy way to allow end user to customize the basic home screen icons. You just need to add a simple exe that search and replaces for a few strings into the files: BasicHome_labels.xml, BasicHome_move_left.xml, BasicHome_move_right.xml and BasicHome_links.xml. Then you need also supply some icons for using it into basic home (games, plugins, news reader, internet browser, burner, etc).

A link for return to basic home from My plugins could also be nice...
