I encounter sporadic pixelation on channels ARD HD and ZDF HD.
First I tried anything which seems related without any success (including changing the main amplifier and analysing the house cabeling by a professional company).
Then as a last attempt I did the stupid thing to pull the CAM (Alphacrypt Light) out of the Floppy DTV.
Belive it or not the problem is solved. I always was under the impression that problems with FTA channels could not be related to the CAM.
Then I called the hotline of Mascom and before I had the chance to complete my story the employee told me this is a known problem caused by a chip defect of the CAM.
So if you have similar problems and are not able to find the root cause give pulling the CAM a try although it sounds quite stupid.
Cheers.
