After upgrading to MP 1.1.0 RC1 I can no longer search in Spotifier (nothing happens). Is anybody else seeing this or have I messed up the installaltion? I only need to place the two files in their respective directories, right?

Same same, but I haven't had the time to look into it.

There are other more pressing matters, as no video...

I just tested Spotifier 0.3 on a clean installation of MP 1.1.0 RC1 and everything seems to be fine. Please check your configuration or try removing Spotifier directory in Mediaportal installation directory and then configure again.

One question: The installation is simply placing the two files in their respective directories, right? Or have I missed something?

Spotifier.dll goes to [MediaportalInstallDir]/plugins/Windows.

Skin files goes to skin directory in C:/ProgramData/Mediaportal/skins (Vista/Win7)

Is support for pulling playlists from spotifys server coming any time soon? Thats what would send this plugin over the top for me. Adding songs with the remote makes my brain hurt after two songs Great job on the plugin so far though!

Pulling playlists from Spotify is not possible with current version of Spotifier.

However, now there is a decent C# API for Spotify which I'm planning to use in future version of Spotifier. This way premium users can use all the features of Spotify in Spotifier. Non-premium users will have the option to use the current implementation.

OK, I copied the plugin files again and to my surprise everything now works normally

Seco, can we hope to see a new version of Spotifier any time soon? Don't mean to nag, but I'll do it anyway!
