Everytime when I resume from standby I see this error:


It pops up a lot of times, so I need to close the MP proces manually (taskmanager).

I attached My logs and it seems like the graphics card driver is causing some issues here?

Nobody knows what to do? I could reinstall graphics drivers but I'd rather not. Games are working fine and graphics drivers are really hard to get uninstalled right (I know bout the special programs for this).

Please somebody reply to this thread. It's bugging me...

Cannot give a reason why this has started happening, the only thing to suggest is shutdown\restart MP (MP config\general restart MP on resume) if still giving grief then add a start delay, why the drivers are not fully initialised befor MP's startup is anyones guess, might be down to your 4gb of memory even (stranger things have been known with max memory installed).

I get this error if I leave mediaportal minimised when i make the pc go into standby. When I resume, the error appears!

Exact samething DQ. Just enable the restart MP on standby option and there's no problem

Hi!
I have the same issue with mediaportal when returning from hibernate. Suspending the system with minimized mediaportal always worked on this machine before I had to reinstall the whole system after a HDD crash... I ran mediaportal version 0.2.3.0 back then.
On the fresh windows with mediaportal RC1.2 and RC1.3 this essential feature never worked propperly. Hard to find out what triggers this behaviour...

I use this computer both for working/surfing and an mediacenter but don't want it to be powered all the time. What i don't realy like is to wait the time MP needs to restart after resumeing from standby...
Ok, i used this option as a work-around. Now, and this is what bothers me most, MP also crashed after re-starting at resume so a scheduled TV-record was missed... That's bad
It would be nice if it only worked as fine as it once did...

I read some other threads which said something about reducing thumbnails quality, but that didn't help.

the crash just happened again, this time i could watch while it occured. After resume from hibernate, a error messagebox appeared, saying "nothing will be rendered...". When i clicked OK, MP tried to restart (as configured), but failed. I kept the watchdog's error log (which i completed with Dxdiag.txt manually - don't know why it was missing).
I attach a stripped version of the logs, if someone needs more please write a personal message.
I hope it can help. Unfortunately I can't track down the reason for the trouble...
