I have an imon lcd OEM (Antec Fusion remote case). What do you mean with "disable vfd" ?

Disable minidisplay plugin in mediaportal configuration AND also set frontview = never in imon.
This may solve your problem, as I used to have exactly the same problem.

Same problem here; my config is ga-ma78gm-s2h rev 1.1 F7 bios, and antec fusion 350.

I disabled minidisplay plugin and I solved, but now, how do I use my LCD with mediaportal?

Have you tried this new MP .dll which is in test at the moment.

It fixed a lot of problems for me.

tanks for your suggestion but I'll try it next week. Now I'm trying this tool, which lets use IMon hardware timer and allows to turn on pc from off state, avoiding enter into standby or hibernation. That tool is not yet final, but I think it's the best way to use Imon LCD (there are too many issue when resuming pc from standby or ibernation state: for example 1 - in my system Hauppauge nova-t 500 takes more than 20 second to became active after standby, 2 - if you use wi-fi card when resume from standby i usually lost tvserver connection and 3 - imon lcd lock the system or give a black screen when resume ...too many bugs!!!).
