Start button visible in windows 7 + Mediaportal (1 Viewer)

    Same problem over here. Tried everything mentioned in this forum.

    When starting mediaportal, the top line of the startbar is not visible. I can watch video's, live TV and movies, no line of the startbar. Then I enter S3 sleep mode and get the HTPC out of it again. Still, no problem. But when I watch live TV for instance, the line gets visible and never goes away again until I restart MP completely.

    UPDATE: I did some experimenting. It is solved over here by unchecking the Auto-hide taskbar option in de taskbar properties window. I know how strange it sounds to prevent something to autohide to make it not visible!

    Try move taskbar to top of screen. Win7 have problem with autohide. When you checked autohide and goes to sleep monitors than windows 7 hangs for 2-5 minut. Windows 7 have bug :(

    Never had problems with that actually.

    Please write in google "windows 7 hide taskbar hangs". Many people have this problem. Please try enable hide task bar and go monitor to sleep from windows option (shut down monitor after... minut).
