Starting work on Techno Trend Premium support (1 Viewer)

Tested it, result: Technotrend is not recognised by TvEngine.

Same log as Strawberry reported a few days ago.

Frodo just said in this thread https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/showthread.php?p=87023 he made a mistake and TechnoTrend Premium is not supported because it is not BDA-compatible.

MBB, could you work something out by redoing the current SVN sources? I don't know how to build MP, but I am eager to learn. Maybe we can work something out this way?

Hi, this is Sam, draktheas' widow. I have been digging through some of his computer stuff recently and found a whole bunch of development code he had related to this project. Some of it was labeled Technotrend Premium. If someone is interested in taking it I can find a way to get this to you. I am not sure if it is helpful or not or whether you guys have already gotten what you need, so let me know.

Quick update. I pulled down the source tonight and got everything buildng, took me quite a while to get all of the SDK's installed paths setup correctly etc. More work tomorrow

After some investigation there are two ways that I can finish this support. I can create a custom graph for mediaportal that connects the filters manually exactly how it needs to be hooked up for the tt premium. Or I can write a BDA driver that will support the tt premium. I am leaning toward the BDA driver because it will allow not only mediaportal to use it but any program that supports bda. It is going to take more work and more time to write a bda driver. Anyone want to weight in on the decision?
