After some investigation there are two ways that I can finish this support. I can create a custom graph for mediaportal that connects the filters manually exactly how it needs to be hooked up for the tt premium. Or I can write a BDA driver that will support the tt premium. I am leaning toward the BDA driver because it will allow not only mediaportal to use it but any program that supports bda. It is going to take more work and more time to write a bda driver. Anyone want to weight in on the decision?

Hi Jeremy,
Afaik there is a technical problem with the tt premium's chipset which prevents the writing of bda drivers, but if you know a way to write one in my opinion that would definately be the way to go
(Look for instance at this http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/archive/index.php?t-9775.html thread from which I quote

"The biggest issue with the TT Premium is that the way it's designed means it will never support BDA"
and this one http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/board/archive/index.php?t-4917.html where they tell it has a hardware PID filter which is incompatible with bda)
If you have to write the graph I guess the best way to go would be to get the rest of the sources Samantha (Drak's wife) is offering since I know that he had a working situation complete with rewritten MPSA filters for USA sat-support.
Those sources are written for the pre MP TVserver era but my guess is that they are a good opportunity for a jump-start.
I think they never made it to svn, since Drak put his work on hold to wait for the MP TVserver to mature (See the postings in this thread a while ago https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/starting_work_techno_trend_premium_support-t4199p15.html where Drak tells it's working and the project is on hold and dman-lfc asks to put the sources in SVN, dman's question was for a very sad reason never answered...)
