Yes you understand it correctly. You install MyTheatre, configure it as you want it with channels and so on, make a channel mapping with the dvbsbridge provided tool and then scan for the channels in tvserver.
The dvbsbridge shows up in the tvserver setup tool as another DVB-T card. I had to make a new lists of frequencies in dvbt.xml so the setup tool scans correctly. Other than that it was quite straightforward. Biggest problem is really the quite unusual GUI in MyTheatre and pointing the dish in the right direction
There is a quite active forum at dvblogic.com as well and I'll be happy to assist anyone trying to set this up.
