I am very sure that this feature was implemented in the early Versions of Mediaportal, where you had no TVService, but the buildin TV-Engine (1.0???)
Perhaps there is a chance to recycle some old Code ?
I'd love to have this feature back! Together with the feature to restart the timeshift-buffer whenever you change the chanel

is there anyone out there good enough in programming to finish gemx work for this issue? I am not apparentely
would be great to have this option! can't even be too hard to include the epg data and select which show you want to record (as for two consequitve recordings there is even an overlap if you have 10 minutes before and after each show in your options...)
