Hi all - I previously reported an issue whereby any time I change channel that forces the TV server to switch tuner card the video crashes back to last screen (either "guide" or "my TV"). I'm still seeing the issue but I have a little more info. (I'm creating a new thread because I mistakenly reported the issue as resolved in the other thread - I hope that is ok).

This issue is 100% reproducable for me and I have multiple systems exhibiting the same problem - If I am watching a channel that is received on tuner card 1 and I change to a channel received by tuner card 2 the video will crash back to "guide" or "my TV".

The problem seems to be related to the Media Portal SVN and I see the problem in all 'recent' SVNs - but not in older versions. For my current testing I've been using 13325 as the version that 'works' and 13920 as the version that doesn't work. (During my testing all I've changed is I've applied the different MP SVNs - the TV server version and client plugin have stayed the same)

I'm not sure if this is an instance of Bug ID 0000986 but I see the same problem if going DVB-T card -> analog or analog -> DVB-T.

Looking through the logs I notice there seems to be a file name missing in the "tvhome:file:" output in the logs when it doesn't work. (Full logs attached) I've also attached the server logs for when the channel change fails.

    13325 log (does work):

For my most recent testing I've been using

    Does this help?

I've tried changing the recording format to transport stream but I get the same problem (only difference I can see is that in the log file I see "[Info.][MPMain]: tvhome:file:.tsbuffer")

I'm happy to provide any other required info etc - thanks so much for your help.
