My timeshift folder was on a RAM drive. Because i saw some "Device (200:40000) Stream 1 dropped data" messages in my event viewer i opened a ticket at digital devices support.
They suggested to try another drive, so i switched to a hdd. Same issue.

I am running 1.8pre since 2 days, but the issue was there before.

DD Support advised me to try MS Codecs insted of LAV.

Just for my understanding, how can a codec on the client side create issues on the timeshift file on the server side?

    Hi,

this is not a codec issue. Why do you use unc path for recordings and timeshift inside the tvserver?

Agree with regeszter: full logs please. :)
Also, as the message says: is it possible that some other application (like security software or even MP) could be using/accessing these files and preventing deletion?
Alternatively, are you sure the user account that the TV service is using has permission to delete files from that location?

Trying to collect full logs right now. Theres a good chance it will take some hours to get the issue, it happens randomly.
Guess it wouldnt be enough to manually start timeshift to gather logs? Usually no one is watching tv over the day.

There is no security software running. Only software i installed lately was mpextended and a bunch of windows updates.

Shouldnt be a permission issue. Everyone has full permissions on media and timeshift folders.
I am using the same user account for all clients and the Server, set to admin privileges.
