    Hi community,

I noticed that if after start the Media Portal is activated at least one pop-up window (for example, start recording a message) or a window with the switch off option the PC, it starts to behave strangely overlay window. By overlay for video, TV or recording live preview is lost. Originally I thought that this is the result of my editing the Black Glass skin. But now I installed the original Black Glas SVN skin and this behavior was confirmed here too. I tried to switch to the standard DefaultWide skin and there is everything behaves smoothly.

I use Media Portal version 1.2.0 and latest Black Glass SVN skin.

Can anyone confirm a similar behavior?

    Regards,

    JiRo.

Dialogs in Black Glass do not have overlay allowed so overlay will hide when dialog is active.QUOTE]

Yes, I know and with this I haven't problem. But after first using of some dialog (and after termination of this dialog) is overlay's behavior strange (as described below) and not only at Basic Home page (attached xml code is used only in Home Basic and Home page).

I did small test. At Basic Home I change xml code to: <allowoverlay>yes</allowoverlay>. Until first dialogue was overlay all right. When the dialogue box appeared, overlay disappeared...

You really need to write exact steps to make this happen. I tested this:

    1. Start MediaPortal
    2. Open MyVideos
    3. Start video
    4. Went back to home using 'h' on keyboard
    5. Overlay was shown
    6. Navigated to shutdown button
    7. Pressed shutdown menu
    8. Menu opened, overlay was hidden
    9. Closed Menu using 'esc' on keyboard
    10. Menu closed, overlay was shown
